Furniture Refinishing in Lake Mary and Orlando, FL

Retrodern is a custom furniture refinishing studio in Longwood, Florida. We take real wood furniture with good bones and give it a second life: professionally prepped, painted in Benjamin Moore finishes, with stained wood bases and new hardware. If you have been searching for furniture refinishing near Lake Mary, Heathrow, Sanford, or Orlando, you are in the right place.

What we do

Custom commissions. You bring us a piece you already own; a bedroom set, a dresser, nightstands; and we refinish it in our signature look or a finish you choose.

Custom Studio Inventory. We source quality vintage and real wood pieces, and you pick the Benjamin Moore shade, the sheen, and the hardware before we refinish them.

Ready pieces. One-of-a-kind refinished furniture, listed in our shop and sold as it is finished; most pieces sell within days.

How a commission works

Send us photos of your piece and tell us the look you want. We confirm the piece is a good candidate, agree on the finish and the price, and take a 50% non-refundable deposit to book the work. When it is finished, we arrange pickup or local delivery.

Appointments and studio visits

Retrodern is a home-based studio in Longwood. Studio visits, consultations, furniture pickups, and commission drop-offs are by appointment only. We do not publish a home street address and do not accept walk-ins. Contact us first; once an appointment is confirmed, we will share the meeting details you need.
